Founder Story: Bethany
Hello, I’m Bethany. Founder of Awen Coaching.
It’s been a little while since I introduced myself and I have connected with some fab people recently, so I thought I'd do a quick recap, here goes!
👨👩👦 I am a Mama and a wife. My husband and I took shared parental leave and have both been able to look after our daughter. They are my ‘why’.
🏡 My husband and I grew up in Devon, lived in Cardiff for 10 years and now live outside Bristol.
☕️ We love living in a village and supporting local businesses, interior shops, and florists, but mostly the cafes!
🎓 I have a BA Hons degree in Textile Art and enjoy bringing my creativity into my business.
✨ I set up Awen Coaching in 2020 having had the support of a coach myself while working for a charity, I knew the difference it made to my confidence and fulfilment.
👩🏼💻 In the midst of the pandemic, while on furlough from my fundraising role I started working as a freelance fundraising consultant and trained to be a coach.
📈 I still do freelance fundraising consultancy and training work alongside Awen Coaching.
🪴 I love gardening, barefoot if I can, it helps me feel grounded, but wellies are also a fav! I have lost count of the number of house plants we have, our inside jungle!
💡 I love supporting my clients to achieve their goals and have purposeful careers and fulfilling lives. It lights me up!
