Setting boundaries for yourself.

I often ask my clients about the boundaries they have with themselves, and it can be a difficult subject matter to discuss. People who struggle with boundaries often struggle with communicating their needs, even or sometimes particularly with themselves.

When you can start introducing some boundaries for yourself you can generally improve your wellbeing, try some of the below:

πŸŒ™ I’m happy to focus on my work, but I will stop checking my emails after 6pm

πŸŒ™ I am going to stop being constantly available and explain when I am busy

πŸŒ™ I’m happy to help people but will ensure my energy is topped up beforehand

πŸŒ™ I love my friends and family but understand that I need Sundays to rest

If you can create some positive boundaries for yourself, you may find it easier to introduce some positive boundaries with other people.
